Tian Xi Kopi in Johor

"We had a delicious meal at Tian Xi Kopi at KSL City Mall. We came in as the atmosphere felt like an old school Kopi shop and we weren't disappointed at all with the food nor atmosphere and the service was top notch!!! The food took a little while to come out, but it was a public holiday and it was totally worth it!!!"

"Tian Xi Kopi located at Level 2-132, KSL City Mall, Jalan Seladang, Taman Abad, 80250 Johor Bahru, Johor 1st visit to the Tain Xi Kopi with a group of 8 person. Wow very impressed with their menu varieties the outlet provided. By looking at the picture, you will know fantastic food and drink from prawn noodle, curry mee, mee siam, love their toast super nice except the Sambal toaster really super spicy if you cannot take it better not to try but if you love spicy do try it.....love their Ho Kar Sai drink it has a well balance of Kopi O and Milo. 1st time ordering when friend said is nice. Overall we enjoyed all the drinks. Also Highly recommend to try the ondeh-ondeh baked cheese lava cake. We take away 2 ondeh ondeh during payment it look and taste awaresome . Definitely, we will be back again."

"Been here a few times. Nice cafe ambience and Lovely prawn and curry noodles, snacks. Also popular with local who pack back. Are Curry noddles today, love the curry gravy, long beans n bean sprouts. Fish cake and fish balls are not so good, cookies are rubbery - Best to exclude and add a bit more chicken shreds. They don’t serve chinese tea which I would love to have with the food"

"Standard atmosphere. Went around 1130am, not crowded. Coffee similar taste to Oreintal. Rate coffee 7.5/10. Peanut French toast taste quite good except feel it’s not so hot when served. Place is clean and tidy, near to GSC, daiso, DIY"

"Located opposite of Daiso, selling very great local delights. We had tried their curry zhu chang feng, ondeh cake, salt egg French toast, rojak etc. All taste very great. Will come again next time"

"Great addition to KSL mall, we liked the huge variety of the menu and how many things it had to offer. It was a great lunch pitstop from walking around the area and we’re happy that the food turned out good as well. You order via a paper order form then pay after your food has been served. Clean environment and plenty of seats."

"Walk pass this eatery a few times after hair cut and decided to try it today. Cheese lava chiffon cake is good but still miss the heavenly standard. Cannot really taste the cheese flavor, probably is overpowered by the gula melaka. Milk custard is surprisinly good but is just a small bowl, just enough for one."

"Ordered the Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken, Penang Fried Kway Tiao, milk tea, soya bean milk and egg tarts. The cafe is situated in a popular shopping mall for Singapore tourists. It is clean and brightly lit. The Penang Fried Kway Tiao is authentic with strong "wok hey". The Kway Tiao has smooth texture with a good balanced taste. The prawns are fresh and it comes with a generous serving of "hums" aka cockles. The Nasi Lemak rice though fragrant but still lack a bit of coconut milk and pandan. The Curry Chicken has a bright orangy color. It is neither noyna style nor Indian or Malay style. It is sweet and spicy hot. However, it doesn't seem to have much of the usual spices or dried shrimps or belacan aka shrimp paste. It tastes ok but could be better. The tea is good but would prefer it to be stronger though. The soya bean milk taste very good with a good balance of sweetness. It's not too sweet giving it a distinct soya bean taste but yet with a perfect tint of sweetness that lifted the taste buds The egg tarts taste good, not too sweet but just lack a stronger caramel flavor. Overall the food is decent but as it is catering to Singapore tourists, the price is much higher than street prices. Most probably they price it in accordance to a slight discount from pricing we get in Singapore. But at the very least, with such pricing, yet we good tasting food."
